A complete starter package for a simple brochure website. The starting package is available at £99 per year, including any applicable VAT.

Included in the £99 starter

  • Design & build: up to five brochure pages, using an agreed design direction, your supplied facts and permitted images.
  • Managed hosting: HTTPS hosting for the agreed website, routine technical maintenance and an annual review.
  • Small content updates: up to four batches each year, each up to 30 minutes. Extra work is quoted first.
  • SEO foundations: agreed service and area keywords, readable page titles and descriptions, mobile layout and sitemap.
  • Google setup support: help connecting Search Console and submitting the sitemap; guidance on a Business Profile where eligible. Verification stays under your control.
  • Draft revisions: refine the design within the agreed brief until you approve it. No unseen publishing.

Clear about extras

A domain name’s registration and renewal are extra, at a price you approve in advance. We can help find an available name; register it in your business’s name so you retain control. Mailboxes, paid advertising, payment systems, ecommerce, bespoke software, video and larger animation projects are extra unless specifically included in your written quote.

Your own server? That works too.

We can design and hand over the agreed site, or help upload it to compatible hosting you control. This is a separate quoted option rather than the £99 managed package. We agree access, licences, files, responsibilities and any handover charge before starting.

You stay in control

We confirm the scope, full price, start date, renewal price, cancellation process, backups and handover arrangements in writing before you order. The starter’s quoted annual term begins at the agreed launch date; no automatic paid renewal without your agreement. No guaranteed Google position or enquiry numbers.

A few useful answers.

Can you make a different layout or design?

Yes. Explain what you like and what you want to avoid. We can adapt the starting designs or agree a different direction, subject to the features, budget and scope confirmed in your quote.

What if I don’t like the first draft—or the next one?

Tell us what needs to change. Revisions to the agreed brief are included until you approve the design. A major new brief or additional features are quoted before work begins; nothing extra is silently charged.

Is this the same as a Deluxe directory profile?

No. A directory profile introduces your business inside Electrician Shortlist; a website is your own business’s destination. They have separate scope, approval and pricing. Buying a website does not buy directory verification, a higher rating or an undisclosed search position.

Can you copy my existing site or another business’s site?

We can use your own content where you hold the rights and permit it. For other sites, describe the general ideas you like; we create an original design rather than copying their words, photographs, logos or claims.

Can you guarantee Google rankings?

No. SEO foundations and setup support help make the site understandable and discoverable. Google decides crawling, eligibility and rankings. Paid campaigns, ongoing content and advanced SEO are separate work if agreed.
